The young Croatian tennis player, 20-year-old Dino Prižmić, this week for the first time in his career is among the top 100 players in the ATP ranking, last week’s passage to the final of the Challenger in Monza brought him a jump of 19 places and he is now 87.
The ranking was also improved by the best Croatian player Marin Cilic who, entering the 2nd round of the Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo, jumped three places and is 48th this week.
After 66 weeks of the “reign” of Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, an Italian returned to the top Jannik Sinner. On Sunday, Sinner defeated Alcaraz in the final of Monte Carlo, and with that success, he surpassed him on the ATP list by 110 points. Next is the German Alexander Zverev, who has almost 8000 points less than the leading duo.
The biggest drop in the top 10 was recorded by the Italian Lorenzo Musetti, who lost four positions and is now ninth.
