Football club Široki Brijeg announced on the official website financial report for 2025from which it is evident that the club from Pecare ended last year with a positive financial result.
According to the report, in 2025 Široki Brijeg achieved total revenues of 4,307,539 KMwhile they are total expenditures presented 3,996,972 KM. That’s how the club ended the year in a plus of 310,567 KM.
This is a significant turnaround compared to the year 2024when revenues amounted to 2,605,616 KM, and expenses to 3,294,523 KM. Široki Brijeg ended the year with a deficit of 688,907 KM.
Income growth in NK Široki Brijeg
In 2025, a noticeable increase in income was recorded, by more than 1.7 million KM compared to the year before. The largest part of the income was related to income from own activitywhich they presented 2,955,298 KMwhile in 2024 they amounted to 1,785,798 KM.
They also grew revenues from the budgetfrom 492,895 KM in 2024 to 911,531 KM in 2025.
Humanitarian income they amounted to 434,843 KM, while a year earlier they were 159,780 KM.
Expenditures also grew
At the same time, expenditures also grew club. Salaries and other personal incomes in 2025 have been set aside 1,700,285 KMwhile in 2024, 1,534,625 KM was allocated for that item. That means they are appropriations for salaries increased by 165,660 KM.
Costs of materials, energy and fuel amounted to 454,415 KM, compared to 289,166 KM a year earlier, while costs of services received increased from 558,298 KM to 821,187 KM. Other expenses and losses they amounted to 795,463 KM, while in 2024 they were 676,359 KM.
According to to the club’s special statementNK Široki Brijeg is in 2025 according to representatives and intermediaries paid out in total 108,959.29 KM. For comparison, a year earlier, 65,542 KM was paid for these needs, while in 2023, that amount was 19,555 KM.
The financial report also shows that at the end of 2025, the club had negative capital from 1,029,885 KM. However, this is an improvement compared to the beginning of the year, when the negative capital amounted to 1,340,453 KM.
The club’s total assets have increased
Total assets of the club on December 31, 2025, it amounted to 5,479,691 KM, while a year earlier it amounted to 5,009,602 KM. Long-term liabilities amounted to 3,816,079 KM, and short-term liabilities to 2,693,497 KM.
The auditor stated in the report that the financial statements present objectively and fairly financial position of the club on December 31, 2025. It is also pointed out how the existence of a materially significant uncertainty has not been established related to the club’s time-limited operations.
According to the financial report, Široki Brijeg thus, after the financially demanding year 2024, achieved in 2025 revenue growth and a positive resultbut with the continuation of high expenses and significant obligations that remain an important part of the overall financial picture of the club.
