The Federal Ministry of Trade (FMT) FBiH published the Rulebook on the conditions of minimum technical equipment of business premises for the performance of trade and trade services.
The Rulebook is classified between other things, dragstors, souvenir shops, and the range of goods that can be sold at gas stations are clearly defined, the FMT is communicated.
The range of articles sold at gas stations is limited to non-food products, in original packaging, and small industrial food products, in factory packaging.
The Ordinance is stated that the following products can be sold in a small pumping station store:
– Food and drink (snacks, chocolate, chewing gum, candy, alcoholic and non-return packaging, hot drinks available on self-service appliances, ice cream, etc.),
– pressures (newspapers, magazines, postcards, etc.),
– phone cards and additions,
– car equipment (motor oils, air-for-car refreshers, glass washing, small spare parts and equipment, etc.),
– travel necessities (folders and guides, batteries, phone chargers, USB cables and similar equipment, first aid, children’s toys, etc.),
– tobacco and tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, smooth tobacco products, lighters, matches, lighter gas, etc.),
– Hygiene products (wipes, wet wipes, soaps, deodorants, sunbathing products, one-time children’s diapers, etc.)
– Passenger accessories (umbrellas, sunglasses, hats, travel pillows, etc.).
The range of trade at the gas station in the gas station does not enter the special regulations requiring special conditions for storage and exposure to the shelves, which must not be exposed to the source of contamination, heavy metals and toxic gases, and is used in the daily diet of people using household.
Under tiny industrial foods in factory packaging include food products that are in factory packaging up to 1kg and up to 5l and can be directly consumed without additional thermal, mechanical or other processing, cooking, grinding, etc. is not permitted).
Food products that cannot be directly consumed and require additional processing before consuming (flour, pasta, oil, rice, meat – instant, ground and grain, etc.) cannot be sold at gasoline pumps.
The dragstor is defined as a retail area of 12 to 50 m2, which operates 24 hours a day, and sales must be performed by direct contact with customers, without counter business.
Souvenir shops are defined as sales facilities in which retail of souvenirs, handicrafts, religious products, philatelic markets, antiques and unique gifts, beiguria, traditional and cultural clothing and accommodation cases, fabric and all other products that have a cultural or traditional character.
Shops contained within or are an integral part of the unit of rail and bus stops, gas stations, hospitals, hotels, natural facilities, in addition to being physically within or is an integral part of the entire functional whole with this other object.
Innocent functional unit means that objects together make up a unique connected whole, ie. Facilities are not only connected physically, but are interdependent and their separation or functioning is not possible separately or would lead to loss of the basic functionality of the store.
The Ordinance clearly defines the classification of trade in size. Thus, the minimarket is a sales facility from 50 to 400 square meters of sales surfaces, a supermarket from 401 to 1,500 square meters, and a hypermarket is a larger than 1,501 square meters of sales area.
In addition, it is clearly prescribed which sales facility is mandatory to have a parking lot, a toilet, a place for loading goods and the like.
Legal and natural persons performing trade activities are obliged to harmonize the minimum technical conditions for the provisions of this Rulebook within six months from the day of its entry into force, ie. The deadline for harmonization of operations according to the new rulebook is until 17. October 2025. years.
