The jubilee 30th Mrkodol Memorial Futsal Tournament will be held from August 1 to 13 at the Mrkodol Sports Center in Tomislavgrad.
On the renewed SRC Mrkodol will be held in Tomislavgrad this year 30th Mrkodol Memorial Futsal Tournamenta sports event that has been gathering athletes, friends, fans and amateurs for three decades.
The tournament will be held from 1 to 13 August 2026and this year’s edition brings a rich sports program and a prize fund larger than 30,000 KM through all categories.
A tournament that preserves the memory of Croatian defenders
The Mrkodol Memorial Futsal Tournament has been keeping the memory of for 30 years killed and died Croatian defenders of the Homeland Warat the same time fostering togetherness, sportsmanship and gathering of generations.
The organizers point out that in the year of the great jubilee, they are ready for another special edition of the tournament, which will once again gather numerous participants and spectators.
Team applications are open until July 28
Team registrations last until July 28, 2026 until 6:00 p.mwhile the draw will take place on the same day at Mrkodol Elementary School at 6:30 p.m.
According to the official poster, applications are being accepted for several categories:
- Seniors – payment per team is 250 KM
- 100 kilos – payment per team is 50 KM
- Juniors – for 2011 and younger, payment per team is 100 KM
For applications of senior teams, a number is available 063 448 523while for the categories cattle breeders and juniors, applications can be made to the number 063 149 632. Applications are also possible through the website www.mrkodol.com.
Prize fund for seniors 30,000 KM
In the senior competition, it is foreseen prize fund of 30,000 KM. It will go to the winner of the tournament 17,000 KM and a trophyto the second-placed team 8,000 KM and a trophyand to the third place 3,000 KM and a trophy.
Fourth place brings 1,000 KMwhile the teams placed from fifth to eighth place will receive po 250 KM. Prizes are also provided for the best player, goalkeeper and scorer, to whom it belongs 200 KM and a trophy.
Awards in other categories as well
In the category 100 kilos first place brings 1,000 KM and roast lambwhile the second-placed team will win 500 KM and 100 kebabs.
In the junior category, it belongs to the winner 70 percent payment and cupto the second-placed team 30 percent down payment and trophywhile the defeated semi-finalists will receive po 100 KM.
The tournament is played according to the system 5+1and the organizer is MZ Mrkodol.
