In an interview with CNN, Milei said that about 10 countries are interested in coordinating policies within the alliance, but he did not reveal which countries. He stated that the bloc will fight against “socialism in different versions, including 21st century socialism and woke ideology, and even more extreme forms.”
Speaking about the victories of right-wing and center-right candidates in South America, Milei said the region was “emerging from the 21st-century nightmare of socialism, revealing that it is a fraud by which a small group of oligarchs seize power and impoverish the people.”
Milei has expressed support for right-wing leaders in the region, including the presidents of Paraguay, El Salvador and the recently elected president of Honduras. Outside the region, he stated his willingness to cooperate with leaders such as Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, Viktor Orbán and Giorgia Meloni.
During Melona’s visit to Argentina in November 2024, Milei spoke of creating a “covenant of free nations, united against tyranny and misery,” but that plan later lost momentum.
