On Monday, a meeting was held in the Mostar Police Department with chief Darij Bilušić and his colleagues, with the director of FC Velež Faruk Karadža and member of the Board of Directors of HŠK Zrinjski Milo Puljić.
Organization and security aspects were discussed at the meeting arrival of visiting fans in the upcoming period, with special emphasis on preserving the security situation in the city area, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva County.
The position of the Mostar Police Administration is that visiting fans can attend sporting events as long as the teame does not violate the security situation. The Mostar Police Department will, in accordance with its legal powers, take all necessary measures and actions with the aim of preserving public order and peace and the safety of all citizens and event participants.
Visiting fans who travel in an organized manner under police escort they can only use vans (<30 persons) i buses (30+ people), passenger motor vehicles they cannot be part of the organized arrival/departure of fans, the MUP explains.
Before departure the local competent police agency will conduct an inspection and compile a list of all passengers by means of transport, whereby all fans are required to possess valid identification document for the purpose of establishing identity, doc minors can only travel accompanied by their parents or guardian.
The MUP adds that they will in case of finding pyrotechnic devicesobjects capable of causing injury or alcoholic beverages, the same will be confiscated, and the persons found with them will not be allowed to continue their journey.
Upon arrival at the destination, it will be done detailed screening of fans before entering the stadiumand it is recommended to arrive at least one hour before the start of the match in order to perform security procedures in a timely manner.
The Mostar Police Department appeals to all participants that their behavior contribute to safety and sports environment, the announcement concludes.
