The “Maniacs” fan group, which supports FK Željezničar, expressed its dissatisfaction on its Facebook page due to the timing of matches determined by TV companies, which are often to the detriment of the fans.

For years now, the TV company that has exclusive rights for broadcasting matches of our league, he doesn’t care at all about attendance at the stadiums. They are often the reason for fewer visits to some derby matches due to the decision to broadcast the broadcast in mildly unpopular terms.
Our league has 10 clubs and one round is often played over four days, while extraordinary rounds are often played over two days. All clubs have floodlights, which is important to note.
We don’t want to accept excuses about TV schemes to the detriment of less attendance at our club’s stadium. In addition to that, the Serbian TV station Arena Sport has scheduled the quarterfinals of the BIH Cup for the 16th hours on Wednesday (most people work until 4:00 p.m., there are big traffic rush hours), she has already shown for the umpteenth time another disrespect (they used to do that too, but we hoped they would be understanding in the future, which didn’t happen) according to most of the fans from Želji’s corps.
That’s it disrespect for religious beliefs most of Želja’s fans, so they are again forcing us to break the fast at the stadium.
We cannot influence decisions at other people’s stadiums, if the host clubs do not agree to move unpopular dates, but in our house we want to raise our voice and clearly say that this practice SHOULD STOP.
We also demand from our club sharper reaction regarding unpopular terms, we want to see the backbone of our club, not just a letter sent to Arena Sport and a rejection letter where the story ends!
We want to take this opportunity to Calling all Želje fans to stand in solidarity with us in the fight for better match times, even during the month of Ramadan, and therefore we invite that tomorrow (Wednesday) let’s leave the stadium together after the first half.
Also, we expect Arena Sport to reschedule the match against Zrinjski on Monday, which is planned in 6:00 p.monly 20 minutes after iftar.
Arena Sport and other sports TV stations exist because of clubs like Želje and its audience, not the other way around!
