The sixth edition of the Ljubuški Outdoor Festival (LJOF) will be held from May 29 to 31, 2026 at locations along the Trebižat River. Applications for this largest sports and recreational event in Herzegovina are open until May 10.
The festival combines adrenaline disciplines, natural beauty and the cultural heritage of the Ljubus region.
The program is divided into three thematic days:
Friday, May 29 – Opening at Babovac
The first day of the festival starts at the Babovac Stadium with content suitable for all generations:
- Children’s races and bicycle races
- Entertainment program for children
- Charity race LJOF 5K
- Evening concert of the group Children from the basement
Saturday, May 30 – Sports from morning to midnight
The second day brings the most intensive schedule:
- Paragliding – competition in precision landing “Kosača” with the start at Butorovica
- Kayak – memorial race “Professor Žarko Bilić”
- Ljubuška ten Scunasticus (10.4 km) from the Roman military camp Gračine to Kravica
- Two Falls Half Marathon (21.1 km) from the Koćuša waterfall to the Kravica waterfall
- Football tournament 3×3 at the Kravica waterfall
- Concert of the popular Jola on Kravica starting at 9:00 p.m
Sunday, May 31 – Cycling and hiking
The final day of the festival focuses on cycling races and sports finals:
- Mara bicycle race (21.1 km) from Koćuša to Kravica
- Bicycle race Stipe (40 km) from Koćuša to Kravica
- Ascent to Vrlosinj intended for hiking enthusiasts
- The final match of the football tournament 3×3 and 3×3 basketball tournament in Kravica
- Evening concert lineup Pancelot starting at 9:00 p.m
In addition to the competitive part, LJOF also offers an outdoor fair, expert lectures and workshops.
