A massive cortege of fans of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team headed towards the Energizer Park stadium, where the Dragons are playing a friendly match against Panama.
The streets of the American city, which for a reason bears the epithet “little Bosnia” because of the largest BiH. communities outside of Europe, are completely painted in blue-yellow tones, and the same ambience is expected in the stands.
A stream of fans of all generations, equipped with jerseys, scarves and recognizable flags with lilies, accompanied by a song and a torch went towards the stadium, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the biggest domestic matches.
Preparations for this spectacle began in the early hours of the morning. Cafes, restaurants and public squares were filled with BiH. fans, and a special choreography was prepared by the fan group BH Loyals St. Louis, whose members also decorated the columns of cars accompanying the fan parade.
Estimates say that there will be around 20,000 Bosnia and Herzegovina fans in the stands of Energizer Park, which means that Sergej Barbarez’s team will have strong support from the stands.
The match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Panama is played tonight in St. Louis starting at 9:00 p.m.
