On the occasion of the celebration March 1 – Independence Day of Bosnia and HerzegovinaPublic institution Tešanj Museum she announced public competition for the selection of the best art works of elementary school students from the Tešanj municipality.
The Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina is celebrated on March 1 in commemoration of the referendum held February 29 and March 1, 1992when the citizens declared for Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state of equal citizens and nations.
Right to participate and selection of papers
Elementary school students from the Tešanj municipality have the right to participate in the competition. The best works of art will be chosen in two selections:
students classroom teaching
students subject classes
Rules and technical conditions of the competition
It is intended for students of class classes block format number 3 or 4with free work techniquewhile the students of the subject class should produce the works in block number 5using tempera or watercolor.
One school can deliver a maximum of six student papers. Papers must be submitted along with mandatory information about the student (name and surname, phone number, class and school). by mail, through the schoolno later than February 20, 2026.
Awards and exhibition of works
The papers will be graded an expert commission of three membersand the three best works from each selection will be awarded recognitions and monetary awards:
1st place: 150 KM
2nd place: 100 KM
3rd place: 80 KM
Awards will be presented at exhibition of student workswhich will be organized as part of the celebration of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2026. The authors of the awarded works will be informed in a timely manner about the date and place of the exhibition.
