Public company RAD Tešanj continues with the improvement of communal services, and within the scope of these activities funds for procurement have been secured of a new multifunctional vehicle which will significantly strengthen the company’s capacities, the company announced.
ZDK grant funds approved
According to JP RAD Tešanj, during in 2025 the company applied for the code Ministries for Spatial Planning, Transport and Communications and Environmental Protection of the Zenica-Doboj Cantonwhere their project was approved, with an award grant funds in the amount of 40,000 KM.
After securing the funds, the public procurement procedure was carried out, a on Friday, January 30, 2026a contract was signed with the most favorable bidder, the company ACŠ Školjić doo.
Focus on waste collection and disposal
The new vehicle will primarily be engaged in waste collection and disposal departmentwhere in the last few years there has been a significant increase in the number of users of communal services in the area of the municipality of Tešanj. It stands out in particular taking over the complete local community of Šijawhereby the system covered approx 500 new users.
The company emphasizes that good technical equipment and quality fleet they represent the basis of stable operation of the communal system and reliable services for citizens.
Continued investment in the vehicle fleet
JP RAD Tešanj reminds that in previous years, significant strides have been made in renewal of the vehicle fleetwith the use of donor funds from different levels of government, which procured vehicles that will serve the local community in the long term.
The total value of the procurement amounts to 87,400 KM, excluding VATa the vehicle delivery period is 180 days.
