The payment of the January pension to all pensioners in Bosnia and Herzegovina will bring higher amounts on the checks. The oldest in the RS entity will receive an increase of 6.25 percent, and their colleagues in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive about 11 percent.
However, while the authorities announce increases, pensioners say that even with them, the pension is insufficient to cover galloping expenses and provide a dignified life.

“It is calculated from 50 percent of the increase in the average salary during the 12 months of the past year and 50 percent from the increase in the rate of inflation, that is, the increase in the cost of living.
