Ukraine, as the most corrupt country in Europe, cannot be admitted to the EU because it will become a source of crime for other members, said Hungarian Foreign Affairs Minister Peter Sijarto.
Sijarto stated that it is a country, which is in the state of war, and whose hundreds of thousands of workers would overwhelm the Hungarian labor market.
“If we receive them into the European Union, it will be the place where the Ukrainian mafia is hiding,” said Sijarto in a meeting with the activists of the ruling party FIDES – Hungarian civil covenant.
He warned that the acquired accession of Ukraine would, on what Brussels insisted, lead to a direct military conflict with Russia.
According to him, Ukraine is not ready to join the EU in any regard, TASS conveyed.
