Taekwondo club “Poskok” from Posušje performed at the International Memorial Taekwondo Tournament “Josip Jović” in Imotski. The tournament took place on Saturday, March 28 in Imotski. About 600 competitors in sports fighting and kick took part in it, and more than 100 of them represented the Posuška club.
The Posuš athletes won overall 36 medals (6 gold, 15 silver and 15 bronze), and 3 cups for team and individual successes. She was the most successful Anja Penava which won with 3 victories in the sports fight a gold medal and a cup for the best female cadet B. They also won gold medals Šimun Topić, Karlo Knezović, Lara Zlomislić, Žana Biško and Elena Zlopaša which achieved 5 convincing victories in the kick discipline.
Silver medals were won by Dominik Šego, Filipa Bakula, Josip Bago, Martina Begić, Veronika Gavran, Anđela Jažo, Marko Bakula, Petra Mikulić, Toma Petric, Karla Bago, Šimun Jukić, Matea Stipić, Karlo Petric, Petra Grubišić and Šime Mandurić.
Bronze medals were won by Anamarija Miličević, Luka Zlopaša, Anđa Tomić, Ivan Bakula, Domagoj Topić, Matej Jukić, Josip Grubišić, Matea Bašić, Duje Đurišić, Natali Boban, Mateo Grubišić, Petra Begić, Ivano Begić, Marta Mitar and Stipe Martić.
Posuška popsocks won team cups for the overall order in the kick discipline and the first team place for the team order of male and female cadets B.
The Posuški club also won the first place in the overall standings of the sports fight and kick tournament.
The young athletes at this tournament were led by coaches Martina Boban, Mihaela Senjak, Lucija Bašić, Lucija Miličević and coach Petar Boban, with the technical support of David Dumančić and Nina Budimir, as well as great fan support from parents and fans.
