Robert Graf is the new sports director of Hajduk and will replace Goran Vučević in that position. Graf arrives after terminating his contract with the Polish club Lks Lodz, where he held the position of vice president for sports for the last two years.
He was born on May 7, 1980 in Wroclaw, Poland, and the beginnings of his football career are connected to his hometown. He worked as a coach of younger categories Greetings from Wroclawthen for two and a half years he gained experience by participating in the development projects of the Polish Football Association (grassroots), and after that he assumed the position of manager Academy Lechia Gdańsk.
In 2018, he took his first job as sports director at the club Olimpia Grudziadz who competed in the third grade of Polish football and won promotion to a higher rank in the same season. In the domestic public, that year was recorded as the one in which the club managed to identify talents and build a competitive system despite limited funds.
In June 2019, it will arrive in Wart from Poznań, one of the traditional Polish clubs. He stayed there until 2021, and the club first returned to the Ekstraklasa after 25 years, only to finish in fifth place in the championship table in 2021, thus achieving the best result in the last 70 years.
He experienced the greatest successes in his career so far in Rakow from Czestochowa, where as sports director from 2021 to 2023 he was one of the creators of the club’s greatest success in history. In that period, Rakow won the championship, cup and supercup of Poland.
In March 2024, he assumed the role of vice president of sports at the U LKS Lodz which at the time of his departure was already on the verge of relegation from the top tier of the competition and remained there until today. He agreed to terminate the contract by mutual agreement with the Polish second league team and takes over the role of sports director of our club.
