Registration available when picking up a participation stamp – without additional procedures
The Health Insurance Institute of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZZO ZDK) informs insured persons that it has developed and put into use a web application that enables online viewing of prescribed and issued medicines in the area of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
Through the web application, insured persons can gain insight into the prescribed and issued medicines, the date of issue, prescribed quantities, form and dosage of the medicine, as well as the period of validity of the medicine and therapy, i.e. the period until which the therapy is valid. It is possible to review medicines that have been prescribed and issued in the last six months.
The introduction of this application represents a significant relief for insured persons, as it enables simple monitoring of therapy and its validity without the need for additional visits or administrative procedures.
In order for the insured person to be able to use the web application, it is necessary to fulfill the request, when certifying the health card or when collecting the stamp for participation, in any ZZO ZDK office. After entering the necessary data into the system, the insured person gains access to the application.
Insured persons who have not had prescribed and issued medication in the last six months will not be able to access the application.
To log in to the application, you must enter your first and last name, JMBG and BLK.
Director of the Health Insurance Institute of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Ahmed Kasap, mag. eoc, stated that the goal of the introduction of the web application is to provide insured persons with a simpler and more transparent view of the prescribed and issued medicines, their quantities, dosage and the period of validity of the therapy, and that the mentioned activity represents the first visible steps towards the improvement of the health information system.
