Wilbekin, 32, was in his fourth season with Fenerbahce after joining the club in the summer of 2022.
An ACL injury, sustained in the first round of last season, sidelined him for the rest of that season – which nevertheless ended in a successful result as he won his first Euroleague title as Fenerbahce lifted the title in 2025.
However, injury problems limited him to only six appearances this season.

This was Wilbekin’s tenth season in the Euroleague.
He spent two seasons in the Turkish Darussafaka between 2015 and 2017, four in the Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv between 2018 and 2022, and after that he was in Fenerbahce.
After 248 appearances in the EuroLeague, his career averages are 13.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
Wilbekin is 20th all-time in scoring with 3,225 points, fourth in three-pointers with 619, and tied for 16th in steals with 287 in the elite competition.
