FBiH Tax Administration announces data on tax revenues, surveillance, number of employees and fiscal turnover
From the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PU FBiH), data on tax revenues in the period January – February, inspection supervision, number of employees and fiscal turnover.

Namely, the taxpayers paid 1.36 billion KM at the mentioned period, which is 127.10 million KM, ie 10.23 percent compared to the same period last year. The structure of public revenues in the period January-February was like this:

  • Income tax and retarded income from taxes of natural persons amounted to 137.13 million KM;
  • Income tax and arrears of income tax amounted to KM 76.92 million;
  • Property tax, heritage and gift amounted to KM 17.93 million;
  • Real estate and right sales tax amounted to EUR 15.41 million;
  • Residual revenues from other taxes amounted to 67,557 KM;
  • Fees and compensation amounted to KM 13.42 million;
  • Financies amounted to KM 13.28 million;
  • The membership fees were 2.91 million KM;
  • Other public revenues amounted to 603,552 KM.

In the period January-February, the Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO), health insurance and unemployment contributions in the total amount of 970.35 million KM were also charged. The structure of the contribution was this:

  • Contributions for PIO 542.83 million KM;
  • Health Insurance Contributions 382.77 million KM;
  • Contributions for insurance for the instance of the unemployment 44.74 million KM.

Inspection supervision

As they said from the Tax Administration, in the period January – February performed 2,430 inspections – quick controls, which is 1.983 more than on 29. February last year. On that occasion, it is:

  • 31 Object unveiled without the approval for work, which is 18 more than the period January – February 2024;
  • 378 unregistered workers were discovered, which is 301 more than the period January – February 2024;
  • 20 facilities unveiled without installed fiscal devices, which is 12 more compared to the period January – February 2024;
  • 660 fiscalization taxpayers who did not record traffic via the fiscal device, which is 550 more than the period January – February 2024;
  • Sealed 244 facilities, which is 200 more than the period January – February 2024;
  • Issue misdemeanor orders in 1,012 controls, which is 792 more than the period January – February 2024;
  • Finnish sentences in the amount of HM 2.58 million, which is 1.72 million KM more than in January – February 2024.

Number of employees

The number of employees according to employee residence at 28. February was 545.130, which is 2.08 more than the same day last year. However, this number is lower by 1,733 compared to 31. January 2025.

Traffic logging through fiscal devices

In the FBiH, on 28. February was installed 106,017 fiscal devices, through which the turnover of 5.15 billion KM was recorded in February. The number of installed fiscal devices is higher by 5,244 compared to 29. February last year, but fiscal turnover in February this year was 46.26 million KM compared to February last year. Data on the number of installed fiscal devices and fiscal turnover in municipalities and cities are available here.

From the Tax Administration, they have called back taxpayers again to operate legal and that each individual traffic records recorded through the fiscal device and issue a bill. They mentioned that bonds will not be exposed to imposition of sanctions and measures, such as temporary closure of facilities and payment of high fines if they issue an account.
