Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic withdrew from the Masters in Monte Carlo, the tournament organizers announced today.
The 38-year-old Serbian tennis player gave up his performance on clay after earlier withdrawing from the tournament in Miami due to an injury to his right shoulder, reports Beta.
Djokovic last played at the tournament in Indian Wells at the beginning of the month, where he was defeated in the round of 16 by defending champion Jack Draper.
The winner of 24 Grand Slam titles triumphed in Monte Carlo in 2013 and 2015.
The next tournament where his performance is planned is in Madrid, which is held from April 22 to May 3.
American tennis players Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton withdrew from the tournament in Monte Carlo due to injuries.
