Sarajevo football players will try to make up for the deficit from the first leg of the quarter-finals (0:1) in Mostar tomorrow and win a place in the semi-finals of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a duel with old rivals Velež.
In the rematch at the “Rođeni” stadium, coach Marij Cvitanović’s chosen team will look for a victory that would bring them a passage to the further course of the competition and fight for the trophy, given that they lost a step to Borce and Zrinjski in the race for the title of national champion.
Before tomorrow’s duel with Velež, Cvitanović pointed out that his team is coming to Mostar with a clear goal, “a turnaround and placement in the next phase of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
“The rematch of the Cup with Velež awaits us. We lost the first game 1:0 and the only thing left for us is to win in Mostar. This is how we are preparing and this is how we will set ourselves up, to look for passage in the Cup from the first minute. That is the only thing that interests us, and for that we need a victory,” said Cvitanović.
The duel between the old rivals, which this time also attracts a lot of attention from the fans, will be played on Wednesday from 18:45.
