In the territory of the Tešanj municipality, works on the arrangement and asphalting of the Tešanj underpass, i.e. the passage under the highway, have been completed, which significantly improved the conditions of movement and daily life of the inhabitants of this part of the municipality.
As announced by the Municipality of Tešanj, more than 1,000 square meters of asphalt were installed on this section. The project was extremely complex and demanding, as it included not only the construction of the road, but also extensive installation work. During the implementation of the project, the installation of water installations for the Tešanjka settlement and the hydrant network, the construction of sewerage and public lighting, as well as internal and external highway drainage facilities with associated local facilities and roads were carried out. Three ramps were also built that allow access to private plots.
The construction of a total of 11 underpasses and one underpass intended for pedestrians and passenger motor vehicles is planned on the highway route that passes through the municipality of Tešanj. Although the construction facilities have been completed, currently only the sub-passenger in Kraševo has been fully completed with all accompanying elements. Three underpasses – Tešanjka, Medakovo and Trepče – have been completed up to the first layer of asphalt and are already in operation, while the remaining works are expected to be completed in the coming period.
The Municipality of Tešanj states that the intensification of activities on local roads has been agreed with the contractors, and that the completion of the planned works will significantly improve traffic conditions in the highway construction zone.
