Democratic Studied Taiwan, who considers his territory, wednesday that the Chinese army set up the “shooting” zone in the southwestern part of Taiwan Seauz, near Kaohsiung and Pingtung.
Taiwan convicted that move as a dangerous, provocative and threat to commercial flights and ship traffic, adding that it was not previously announced.
At the regular briefing for reporters in Beijing, the spokesman of the Chinese Ministry of Defense Wu Qian said that Taiwan is looking for attention.
– The comments of the relevant Taiwanese authorities on the routine exercises of the National Army are the Pomp and demand from them to stop the tricks to attract more attention – he said, not stating details.
In his daily morning update of Chinese military activities in the previous 24 hours, the Taiwan Ministry of Defense said that he discovered 45 Chinese military planes and 14 naval ships operating around the island. They included seven ships in the exercise zone, which China declared, 40 nautical miles from Taiwan.
At the accompanying map, the Ministry presented the location of the drilling zone, which says that there is 70 and 20 nautical miles long, although far outside the territorial waters of Taiwan, Reuters reports.
