The organizing committee of the Championship, led by president Mersudin Hadžić, was received by the mayor of Bugojno, Edin Mašić, with whom he discussed the preparations and the importance of this sporting event.
The meeting was attended by members of the organizing committee and representatives of sports life in Bugojno, who pointed out that it is a competition of national importance that will gather around 450 participants, including former world champions.
The president of the organizing committee, Mersudin Hadžić, said that on the first day of the competition, qualifying matches will be held, while the second day is scheduled for the end and final matches as part of the gala evening.
The competition will be held in the low kick, kick light and point fighting disciplines, and the host, KBK “Izazov”, will compete with 26 competitors.
The coach of the club, Ramiz Škembić, expressed the expectation that some competitors will achieve notable results and win medals, stressing that these are athletes who have the potential for international success.
The organizers also announced live broadcasts of the final fights via digital platforms and local media.
Mayor Edin Mašić pointed out that this is an important sports event for Bugojno and confirmed that the Municipality of Bugojno will be one of the main sponsors of the Championship.
