The president of the opposition Serbian Democratic Party (SDS), Branko Blanuša, called on the competent institutions tonight to ban the entry of the controversial Croatian singer Marko Perković Thompson into Bosnia and Herzegovina, and after the concert held last night in Široki Brijeg, where Ustasha, fascist cries of “Ready for home” were again heard.
Blanuša assessed that, instead of showing respect for the victims and civilians, the Ustasha salute should be re-affirmed and said that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is undergoing a serious examination.
“It is a test that will show whether we are a mature and civilized society ready to build a future based on healthy civilizational values or whether we have nothing good to hope for. I expect the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to respond urgently to the glorification of the Ustasha salute and the incitement of national and religious hatred and intolerance, and I expect the Serbian representatives in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to initiate the procedure of banning Marko Perković Thompson from entering Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Blanuša said.
Thompson has a second concert tonight in Široki Brijeg.
