There was a great atmosphere at the training of our national team members. The smiling faces of coach Sergej Barbarez, director of the national selection Emir Spahić and their associates in the coaching staff, hugs from the players.
Short and clear – togetherness! Like rarely before.
And everything somehow reminds us of the days in October 2013 when, on the 15th day of the month when the leaves fall, we won in Kaunas (1:0) and qualified for the World Cup “Brazil 2014”, our only major competition so far.
Our “Dragons” trained today at the FK Sarajevo camp in Butmir. The second and last one, however, will not be played tomorrow at the “Asim Ferhatović Hase – Koševo” Olympic Stadium, but again at the Butmir camp.
This decision was made by the coaching staff in order to further preserve peace in the team and isolate it as much as possible from public pressure.
Barbarez’s mostly “babies”, along with captain Edin Džeka and hardened fighter Sejad Kolašinac, will have their last test before the clash with the Azzurri tomorrow from 4:30 p.m.
Previously, our camp will address the public at a press conference scheduled for 11:00 a.m. in the premises of the Football/Soccer Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The match Bosnia and Herzegovina – Italy will be played on Tuesday starting at 20:45 at the stadium “Bilino Polje” in Zenica.
