The meeting with the topic “Proposals for Urgent Convening of the Assembly of the RS BiH and Amendments to the Statute” will be held on Thursday in Banja Luka.
The Handball Association of Herceg-Bosna will be represented at the meeting by a member of the Board of Directors of the Handball Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dario Pusicwho will present the official positions and proposals of the Herceg Bosna Handball Association in front of representatives of other members.
As part of the proposed amendments to the Statute, the Herceg Bosna Handball Association proposes:
- reducing the number of members of the RS BiH Board of Directors to three (3) members from each constituent nation, for the sake of greater efficiency and operational efficiency,
- making decisions by a two-thirds majority instead of the previous three-quarters majority, with the aim of simplifying and speeding up the decision-making process,
- the possibility of holding sessions of the Board of Directors via videolink (electronically), in order to ensure continuity of work and timely decision-making.
The proposed amendments to the Statute are in accordance with the recommendations of the European Handball Federation (EHF) and are aimed at creating a more functional, transparent and effective management system.
The Handball Association of Herceg Bosnia will request an urgent convening of the Assembly of the Handball Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to consider the proposed amendments to the Statute and the election of a new leadership, which would contribute to the stabilization and improvement of the Association’s work.
