Ivan Kvesić and Klara Vasilj were declared the most successful senior athletes of the City of Široki Brijeg for 2025.
Acknowledgments were awarded to them at a ceremony held on Tuesday evening at the Park Hotel in Široki Brijeg, organized by the Sports Association of the City of Široki Brijeg.
Awards were also given to the most successful in other categories.
The most successful senior and female senior
Ivan Kvesic He is a member of the Herzegovina Zagreb Karate Club and a member of the Croatian national team. At the World Championship in Cairo 2025, he won bronze medal in the kumite category up to 84 kg, which is the highest level of international competition under the auspices of the WKF. In the same year, he won the European Senior Championship in Yerevan gold medal in the individual competition, thus confirming the status the leading European fighter middle category.
