Faruk Suljovic, 23-year-old student of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food and Recreational Athletes, has undergone 1200 kilometers through four countries – running and driving a bicycle – to raise funds for the treatment of Aney Smajić, oncological patient from Knight.
On his trip he went 25. April from Sarajevoand the goal was to get to Istanbula. His humanitarian mission has borne fruit – so far has been collected more than 50.000 convertible marks.
Anelija Smajić suffers from rarely shape Thyroid cancerand her treatment requires about 8,000 KM every month.
Faruk lost his father in his child who passed away from cancerand the story of Anelije Smajić and the three of her children were especially touched by him. That is why he decided to devise and realize the project to help her treatment.
On the route between Sarajevo and Istanbul, he passed Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
During the eight days of travel he had the support of friends who were in charge of logisticswhile the project ambassadors through social networks and the media spread a message Solidarity and an appeal to help.
The last kilometers of the way in Istanbul with the Faruk ran one of the ambassador of the project – Amra Dzeko.
With her, the support also provided numerous other public and cultural staff, among which basketball Janan Musamusicians Marko Louis and Helem Neissemeteorologist Nedim Sladicathlete Mirza Nikolajev And many others.
