WIM Rossel, the head of Europe Cup for men from the International Ski Federation (FIS) pointed out that Bjelašnica is increasingly positioning as a serious candidate for the maintenance of the World Cup competition in alpine skiing. Rossel emphasized that in 2023 there was a successfully organized and sustainable Europe Cup, ie. Competition in the Discipline Super-G for women, and this year and for men, which is a clear indicator that the organizers are prepared to organize competitions in alpine skiing at the highest level.
Speaking of this year’s European Cup and Tracks, Rossel expressed great satisfaction, emphasizing that the trails are fantastic prepared and that the first day of the competition was organized at a high level. He praised the organizational team and pointed out that Bjelasnica had earned the opportunity to be domestic and to be happy with another Super-G competition that will be held tomorrow.
The allocation of a medal for the winners of today’s competition will be held forever in the target space on Bjelašnica at 7 p.m. Another competition day continues tomorrow with start at 10.00.
