However, the Press Association reported that Ronaldo is still staying in Saudi Arabia. Local sources, quoted by Al Riyadiyah, also confirmed that he remains in the country. Although the plane was confirmed to be traveling to Europe, there is no official confirmation that Ronaldo or his family were on that flight.
The situation comes at a time when the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has suspended several matches in the region, including Al-Nassr’s quarter-final against Al Wasl, which was due to be played in Dubai.
However, the Saudi Pro League games between Thursday and Saturday are expected to be played, with Al-Nassr hosting Neom in Riyadh on Saturday. Earlier on Tuesday, media reported that the US embassy in the capital had been hit by Iranian drones.

Amidst the confusion surrounding his trip, the latest posts from Al-Nassr show that Ronaldo is still in Riyadh. Today, the club shared several photos of Cristiano during the evening training on the official X (former Twitter) account. Also, a photo from the training session was published last night, which further confirms that he is staying in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Nassr currently leads the Saudi Pro League standings. In the last game against Al-Fayh, Ronaldo missed a penalty and later left the field due to injury. The injury seems minor, and the belief is growing that he could play in the next game.
