In Bosnia and Herzegovina in December 2025, tourists achieved 118,201 arrivals, which is 2.7 percent less compared to November 2025, while it is 3.1 percent more compared to December 2024.
Tourists spent 237,178 overnight stays in BiH in December, which is five percent less compared to November 2025, and 3.7 percent more compared to December 2024.
In the structure of total overnight stays, the share of domestic tourists was 38.6 percent, while the share of foreign tourists was 61.4 percent.
The number of overnight stays by domestic tourists in December 2025 was lower by 2.6 percent compared to November 2025, while it was higher by 4.4 percent compared to December 2024.
The number of overnight stays by foreign tourists in December was lower by 6.5 percent compared to November 2025, and higher by 3.3 percent compared to December 2024.
In the structure of overnight stays by foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were achieved by tourists from: Croatia with a participation of 25.1 percent, followed by Serbia with 13.1 percent, Slovenia with nine percent and Turkey with 6.2 percent. They are followed by tourists from Austria with a participation of 5.8 percent, Germany with 5.2 percent, China with 3.1 percent and Montenegro with three percent. The aforementioned countries together account for 70.5 percent of the total number of overnight stays by foreign tourists, while tourists from other countries accounted for the remaining 29.5 percent of overnight stays, according to data from the BiH Statistics Agency.
In December 2025, 20,187 rooms, apartments and camping sites with a capacity of 45,422 beds were available to tourists in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In rooms, apartments and places for camping, there was 1.9 percent more availability compared to December 2024, while there were 3.9 percent more beds compared to the same month in 2024, it says RTV TK.
