Rijeka captain and goalkeeper Martin Zlomislić was a guest of Robert Ferlin in the show “Under the rocks of Kantrid“.
He spoke about Rijeka’s season, the European breakthrough and the final of the Croatian Football Cup against Dinamo, which will be played on Wednesday at the Opus Arena.
Europe was beautiful, a beautiful moment and a historic success for all of us. We played a large number of games and it was a great experience for the whole team. He added that Rijeka will be fully prepared for the challenge.
Surely they are ahead very powerful and high quality. They need very little space to score, but our defense has already shown many times that it can handle them. We will be focused and fully prepared for the final.
He also referred to the atmosphere in the team and the support of the fans during the season.
The season was up and down, there were setbacks, but the fans stuck with us and were our 12th player in every game. I thank them immensely for that. We players will do our best to celebrate together on Wednesday.
