U Zenica Cantonal Hospital today, the manufacturer’s new linear accelerator was put into operation Electaa modern device intended for precise irradiation of oncology patients. With the purchase of this device, the hospital’s capacities for the treatment of malignant diseases were additionally strengthened, and the value of the investment is approx 7.5 million KM.
The new device enables advanced forms of radiotherapy, with considerable more precise action on tumor changes and less impact on healthy tissueshorter duration of treatment and greater comfort for patients.
