The driver was shot at the CIA headquarters in North Virginia early on Thursday, according to multiple reports.
“There was a security incident in which law enforcement bodies reacted in front of the CIA headquarters,” CIA spokesman for NBC News said.
The CIA announced that “the main gate of the seat is closed until further notice.”
“Please use alternative routes for Thursday, 22. May,” they listed online X.
Fairfax district spokesman said for CBS News that the shooting happened about four o’clock in the morning local time.
The reason for the shooting is not known, but the Fairfax spokesman told NBC that “was not deadly”.
