As announced by the press service of the territorial community of Pokrovska, the order applies to more than 40 towns and villages, reports NV.
The evacuation process began on December 29, 2025 and will last for 30 days. The village of Voloske in the Dnipro district was designated as a temporary transit location for evacuated civilians.
Competent institutions warn that this area is currently in the zone of active combat operations and that further stay poses a serious threat to the health and lives of civilians.
At the same time, the governor of Chernihiv region, Vyacheslav Čaus, confirmed that in that region, too, a decision was made on the mandatory evacuation of the population from 14 border villages.
According to him, the entire process is planned to be completed in the next 30 days.
