Israeli officials have expressed concern in recent weeks that Iran may be rebuilding an arsenal of long-range missiles capable of striking Israel. Trump warned that any resumption of Iran’s nuclear activities would trigger an immediate response.
“If they were to continue with the missiles – yes. If it’s about the nuclear program – quickly. One would be “yes, absolutely”, and the other: we will do it immediately,” said Trump.

Iran threatened a devastating response
On the other hand, the Iranian army threatened a “much harsher, more destructive and more damaging” response to any hostile action, after the statements of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who said that Iran is practically at war with the United States.
In a statement issued on Monday, the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces warned that it will not tolerate any threats to the security of the country or its population, Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported.
Iranian military commanders said the armed forces were on full alert and warned that any future misjudgment by the enemy would be met with “force majeure”.
Over the weekend, Pezeshkian stated that Iran is in conflict not only with the US, but also with Europe and Israel. At the same time, he recalled the protracted war with Iraq, pointing out that then it was clear who was fighting whom, with open missile attacks, while today, as he said, the conflict is led by sanctions and blockades.
