On the second day of the armpair between Israel and Hamas, thousands of displaced Palestinians return to destroyed homes in the Gaza belt, where about 150 bodies were found under ruins. Many were left without temporary accommodation in destroyed cities.
According to the first phase of the truce agreement, Israel was supposed to allow about 600 Humanitarian aid trucks in Gaza every day, but help has not yet arrived. Trucks are waiting at the Rafah border crossing, which connects Gaza with Egypt.
The Italian Defense Minister announced that the transition will be open on Tuesday.
About 300,000 Palestinians returned to the northern belt of Gaza, but without sufficient equipment and shelters. Medical teams continue to seek victims under ruins, and is estimated that about 9,500 Palestinians have disappeared in the area.
Fire interruption agreement includes the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas and withdrawal of Israeli troops on the agreed line. Hamas will release 47 Israeli hostages, while Israel will let 1,950 of Palestinian prisoners.
