The assistant minister of the interior for the security sector of Minje, Hatem Hasan, received a notification from the operating room for emergencies and the hospital administration about the arrival of the bodies of four children and several injured persons.
Police and ambulance teams were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident.
An urgent investigation was launched to determine the causes of the accident and to take additional safety measures for visitors to the monastery.
