The championship is held under the auspices of the International Football Federation (FIFA) on the ground of the United States, and that is exactly a year before the start of the munddial in Mexico, the USA and Canada.
The competition will last until 17. July, and the matches will be played in 11 American cities. Clubs are arranged in eight groups with four teams. Two best from each group will be placed in the knockout phase.
The FIFA has provided the unprecedented prize fund in the amount of one billion dollars for this championship, which further raises the importance of the tournament.
The main favorites to win the title are Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester City and Bayern, while the shadows are threatening Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Inter from Milan.
