Bayern’s otherwise reliable goalkeeper made a catastrophic mistake already in the 30th second and passed the ball to the feet of Ardi Guler.
The young Turk hit an empty goal from more than 30 meters and nullified Bayern’s advantage from the first match at the very start of the game. Bayern came back, Real led twice more, but in the end, the Bavarians won 4:3 and reached the final.

The German made as many as ten such mistakes in his career in the Champions League. All the other players in the table had three of them, including the legendary Iker Casillas who played the same number of games in the Champions League as Neuer – 177.
