At the 103rd session, which was chaired by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton adopted a series of decisions related to the implementation of the Program for spending funds for incentives in agriculture for the year 2025, in the total amount of 3,639,295 KM, as well as decisions on the allocation of funds to sports teams and athletes in the amount of 722,000 KM.
Today’s decisions will transfer more than half of this year’s budget for agricultural incentives, which for the current year amounts to 6,700,000 KM.
– Decisions were made on approving funds for subsidizing development in agricultural production – organic and livestock production and procurement of greenhouses. The largest amount was allocated for cattle farms in the amount of more than 2 million KM – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
He explained that 100,000 KM was allocated to the municipalities of Olovo and Vareš to support the development of municipalities in the rural area of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, while 8,000 KM was allocated to support the registered breeding of original and protected breeds of animals.
BAM 27,000 was set aside for conducting clinical examinations of apiaries for “American rot” and issuing certificates on the health status of bees to owners of bee societies and veterinary stations.
From the transfer of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, funds were approved for infrastructural works on religious buildings: 10,000 KM to the Mejlis of the Islamic Community of Žepče, 71,000 KM to the MIZ Olovo and 35,000 KM to the Parish of the Heart of Jesus in Čajdraš near Zenica.
Individual decisions on payments for the social needs of Canton residents were also adopted, in the amount of over 9,000 KM.
– We also adopted conclusions on the approval of funds to support sports teams, teams of people with disabilities, professional associations at the state level, and athletes – national team members from the area of ZDK. The amount for this purpose is 722,000 KM – Pivić pointed out.
The ZDK government previously fulfilled all obligations from the Law on sports teams of special interest to the ZDK, to which a total of 3,000,000 KM was transferred for the first time this year. Today’s tranche is part of the remaining 2,000,000 KM of the budget for sports, which was allocated the previous year. A total of 5,000,000 KM will be allocated for sports in 2025.
The Ministry of Veteran Affairs has allocated KM 39,471 for health insurance for members of the veteran population, to the ZDK Health Insurance Institute and the Federation of BiH Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute, for the third quarter of 2025.
