The players of Željezničar achieved a convincing victory against the Sloga Meridian team with a score of 3:0, thus finally ending a long negative streak at home.
For Željezničar, this is the first victory at Grbavica in the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina after more than six months, thus ending a streak of ten consecutive games without a triumph in front of the home fans.
The guests from Doboj opened the match better and already in the 10th minute they had the first serious chance through Toni Jović, but the goalkeeper of Željeznicar Vedad Muftić intervened and kicked the ball into the corner.
There were no major opportunities until the end of the first half. Željezničar threatened on several occasions through Edwin Odinaka, but Sloga goalkeeper Bojan Pavlović remained safe.
The break went to 0:0, but the home team continued to raise the tempo of the game and quickly gained the advantage.
The goal for 1:0 was scored by Sulejman Krpić in the 55th minute after a corner, when he accurately hit the net with his head from a difficult position.
The second goal arrived in the 69th minute after a nice move on the right side. Odinaka recorded an assist, and Dominik Prokop routinely scored for 2:0 and additionally confirmed the dominance of the hosts.
