The Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton expanded the investigation against at least four people who are connected to the pimping of minors in the area of the Tuzla Canton, which is why eight people were arrested three and a half months ago, of which four were members of the MUP of the TK, it has been learned Report.
All of them were found to have had sexual relations with girls
Let us remind you that in October 2025, the MUP TK arrested Besim Kopić, the chief of police from Kalesija who is believed to be the organizer and key person who forced girls to have sex with threats, as well as the policemen Miralem Halilović, the head of the crime department in Živinice, and Jasmin Modrić and Dževad Požegić.
All of them, as it was established, had sexual relations with girls with the prior consent of Kopić. As reported, Kopić also had relationships with underage girls and took money from them and pimped them out to friends and acquaintances. Among those arrested is university professor Zijad Jagodić, who has been in custody for the third month.
However, the investigation was officially expanded to include more people a few days ago. The Prosecutor’s Office of the TK was waiting to receive the results of the expert examination of the confiscated cell phones and video surveillance from several facilities in the area of Živinice and Kalesija.
We learn that the expert report, from the confiscated phones, showed that the messages exchanged by the arrested policemen were more than terrible. This applies especially to Kopić and Halilović. New concrete moves by the Prosecutor’s Office are expected soon
A few days ago, a meeting was held in the Prosecutor’s Office of the TK with the prosecutor and the leaders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TK who are working on this case with the aim of discussing the next steps.
As the Report has learned, the investigation was launched against four members of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Turkey, more specifically, officers from the Živinica and Kalesi Police Departments.
One family member of the previously arrested official from Živinice is also under investigation.
