At the Faculty of Science and Mathematical and Educational Sciences, University of Kinesiology, a professional panel entitled “on the road to Excellence – Handball”, organized by the Center for Research and the Development of Top Sports (CIRS).
The introductory presentation and presentation of the work of the Center held by prof. dr. sc. Miran Peharemphasizing the importance of scientific approach in the development of top athletes and the role of CIRS in connecting science and practice in sports.
Professional lecture on “Heating for a handball match – Scientific and practical approach” held by prof. dr. sc. Nikola Foretić From the Faculty of Kinesiology, the University of Split, providing valuable information and latest scientific knowledge in the preparation of handball players for competition.
In the central part of the program, a panel was held on which they participated Nikola Foretić, Nikša Kaleb, Ivan Karačić and Toni Čolina – recognizable names of Croatian and international handkerchief, and panel moderated prof. dr. Mate Brekalo. Panelists, through personal experiences, the analysis of coaching approaches and debate on the future of handball, provided a valuable contribution to this professional event.
The panel is gathered a large number of handball coaches and kinesiology studentswho had the opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions and actively participate in the discussion, thus achieved by the basic mission of events – encouraging professional dialogue and continuous professional training in the field of handball.
Organizers thank all the lecturers, panelists and participants in contribution and interest, and announce new gatherings with the aim of further strengthening cooperation between science and sports.
