Football club Osijek appointed the Dutchman Kenneth Zandvliet as the new sports director.
Zandvliet comes to Osijek from Heerenveen in the Netherlands, where he held office for the last three years of the chief scout.
Before joining Heerenveen, he worked in English Chelseain which he was the chief scout from 2018 to the beginning of 2023. During his career, he also gained experience in the Dutch clubs Twente and Go Ahead Eagles, and particularly stood out in the area recognition and development of young talents and the creation of a sustainable sports policy.
He comes to Osijek with more than two decades of experience in scouting and football operations. The club points out that he is an expert with a developed international network of contacts and rich experience in assessing player potential, market analysis and transfer realization.

In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the sports sector, the scouting service and the data and performance department.
The club from Osijek says that his arrival represents the continuation of the process of strengthening the sports structure with the aim of creating a competitive and development-oriented team. Zandvliet is the choice of club president Alexandra Végh for one of the most important positions in the sports organization.
