Glasner, who won the FA Cup with Palace last season, was caught by a speed camera on July 15 last year driving his BMW at 29mph (about 47km/h) in a 20mph (about 32km/h) zone on Old Kent Road.
The Austrian admitted his guilt in writing to the Misdemeanor Court in Willesden, and in a handwritten message he undertook not to break the law again, without asking the court to be spared from disqualification.
“I take full responsibility for my actions and realize the seriousness of the situation,” Glasner wrote in a statement to the court. “I have taken steps to ensure this does not happen again. Given the nature of my job, I will make sure to resolve this issue.”
In addition to the six-month driving ban, the coach must pay a fine of £660 (€760), along with £130 (€150) in court costs and £264 (€303) in compensation for victims of traffic accidents.
The offense occurred in a sensitive period for the club.
