The last phase was completed before the start of construction works on the construction of the new southern tribune of Grbavica Stadium.
Today, the contract between the municipality of Novo Sarajevo and the contractor, ITC Zenica is signed at the GRBavica Stadium. On that occasion, the principles of Novi Sarajevo Benjamin Karić turned to the public.
“Today, a new chapter for Grbavica Stadium begins and all who wear it. A contract on the construction of the southern tribune was signed, which begins the realization of the dream generation of fans, athletes and citizens waiting for this moment.
The new tribune brings 5,000 covered places, modern facilities, access to persons with difficulties, security systems and infrastructure solutions worth European standards.
The Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Sarajevo Canton ensured 4.7 million KM for the construction of the tribune. The Municipality of Novo Sarajevo is the holder and implementer of the project, while professional supervision over the works will be performed by the Institute for KS.
Grbavica is much more than a stadium – it is a symbol of resistance, emotions and fidelity. The pages of the Sarajevo history are printed on it, and today we write a new one together.
