Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokić was fined 50,000 US dollars, and Minnesota Timberwolves basketball player Julius Randle will have to pay 35,000 US dollars, due to his role in the conflict that took place between the members of these teams near the end of the fourth game of the playoffs, the NBA office announced.
The incident occurred after Jaden McDaniels 2.1 seconds before the end scored a basket for the final 112-96 when no one was guarding him, because all the other players on the field acted as if the game was already over. That move by McDaniels angered Nikola Jokić, who ran towards him and pushed him away.

According to the press release from the NBA, which accuses Jokić of being the initiator of the incident, then Randle joined the conflict and “intensified it by rushing into the group and pushing Denver player Bruce Brown away.”

Jokic and Randle then cashed in excluding technical errors.
However, both will have the right to play in the fifth game, which will be played in Denver on the night from Monday to Tuesday (4:30 CET), in which the Nuggets will try to extend the series.
Minnesota leads 3-1 and she lacks one victory for a place in the conference semifinals, but the Timberwolves are quite weakened, because they were without two important players from the starting line-up during the fourth game.
Leading scorer Anthony Edwards suffered a knee injury and it is not known when he will be able to play again, and point guard Donte DiVincenzo will miss the rest of the season after being diagnosed with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
