Taekwondo club Poskok Posušje took part in as many as three competitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia last weekend, achieving remarkable results and winning several medals in the form and fighting disciplines.
On Saturday, May 9, club members took part in two competitions: “Orašje Open 2026” in Orašje and “Dalmatia Cup 2026” in Split.
At the “Orasje Open 2026” competition, which gathered approx 220 competitors from three countries, cadets under the leadership of coach Martina Gašpar, together with Taekwondo club Poskok Kočerin. She won the gold medal Anja Penavawhile he achieved a silver performance Ivan Bakula.
On the same day, the younger cadets and cadets of the club also performed at the “Dalmatia Cup 2026” in Split, where about 250 competitors from two countries. Under the leadership of coach Petr Boban, members of Poskok won two silvers and two bronzes. They won the silver medal Domagoj Topić and Petra Lončarwhile the bronze ones were Matej Jukić and Lucija Barać.
The competitive weekend continued on Sunday, May 10, when the club members took part in the strong international tournament “Čigra Open E2” in Zagreb, under the leadership of coach Karl Galić. She won the bronze medal Anđa Tomić in the category of female cadets up to 44 kilograms, while valuable performances were also recorded by Marko Bakula, Mija Begić you Anamarija Miličević.
The weekend was spent in true sportsmanship and with pride for all our young athletes, and now we have preparations for the Poskok Cup, which will be held on May 23, 2026, it was announced.
