Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa announced the Transition Government on Saturday, appointing 23 ministers in the expanded cabinet, which is considered a key step in the rule of Assad that lasts for decades and in improving Syria with West.
The new authorities led by Sunski Islamists were under the pressure of the West and Arab countries to form a government that will be involved in the diverse ethnic and religious communities in the country.
This pressure increased after the murders of hundreds of civilians of Alawit – minority sect from the crashed leader Bashar al-Assad – in violence along the west coast of Syria this month, writes Reuters.
The cabinet included Yaruba Badra, Alawit, which was appointed a transport minister, while Amgad Badr, a member of the friend, to lead the Ministry of Agriculture.
Hind Kabawat, a Christian who was part of the previous opposition Assad’s government and worked on interwoven tolerance and empowerment of women, was appointed Minister for Social Affairs and Work.

Mohammed Yosr Bernieh was appointed Minister of Finance.
The others are Murhaf Abu QaSra and Asad Al-Shibani, who were already performing the Minister of Defense and Foreign Minister in the Previous Provisional Government, which ruled Syria from Assad’s oversizing in December after the rapid offensive rebel attack.
Sharaa also said that the Ministry of Sports and Ministry of Extraordinary Situations was first established, and the Minister of Extraordinary Situations was appointed Raeda Al-Saleh, the leader of the lifelong group known as white helmets.
In January, Shara was appointed temporary president and promised to form an inclusive transitional government to renew the destroyed public institutions Syria and manage the country to the elections, which, as he said, could be held for a maximum of five years.
The government will not have a prime minister, and Sharaa is expected to lead executive power.
Earlier this month, Syria issued a constitutional declaration that was supposed to serve as a basis for the transitional period to manage Sharaa. The declaration has maintained the central role of Islamic law and guarantee the rights of women and freedom of expression.
